As always Debbie Macomber keeps your interest. A little romance, mystery and the "can't wait for the next in the series" A very good read.
This series is pretty good. We keep buying each new one so our office is interested in what happens to these people. Very lite reading.
I've really enjoyed this series that author Debbie Macomber has written. If you are in search of a good series with likable characters, I'd suggest you start with book one 16 Lighthouse Road. This incident has haunted him his entire life.
Although this is classified as a romance novel, there's a bit of a mystery as well.The mystery begins when Dan Sherman, Grace's husband, leaves his family. Is his death somehow related to Dan.Each book in this series, flows elegantly into the next one. The characters are warm and engaging and the reader cannot help but to wonder what will happen next in Cedar Cove.
Later we learn a stranger is found dead at Thyme and Tide Bed and Breakfast. Later his body is found next to a suicide note. In the note, Dan informs Grace about an incident that happened during Vietnam.
Though the families live separate lives, the series has a small town appeal and everyone knows (and cares) for each other. Soon you too will get caught up in the happenings of Cedar Cove, WA.
Loved the book. I am awaiting Books 6, 7 & 8 (ordered) and book 9 due out in September.The books are easy to read and thoroughly entertaining. The Cedar Cove series follows the lives of many people over the whole series. I have read Books 4 & 5 as well as 1 & 2. I can't wait to start on the next book and I will be sad when I have finally read the 9th book. Note to author.keep writing.
Great read reading the whole series love the way all the people in the book stay together.worth reading
